Frequently Asked Questions

When are services?

We have two services on Sunday morning, both with Communion. Our 8am Eucharist is a traditional service with music. Our 9:30am Eucharist is family-friendly, still traditional, but with more kid-friendly music and a children’s sermon.

We also have a Saturday night service with Communion at 5pm in the sanctuary.

Are there nursery services available?

Yes! Nursery services are available Sunday mornings from 7:45am to 11:15am September-April.  We also have Godly Play for children each Sunday at 9:15am.

What should I wear?

Some like to dress up for church, but we encourage you to wear what’s comfortable for you. Some of us wear suits and dresses; others wear jeans and shorts.

Where do I sit?

Anywhere you like! There are no assigned seats.

Can I take Communion?

Yes, all are welcome to receive here at St. Peter's.

Where are you located?

We are located at 1 Parish Lane, between 14th and 15th Street off of Maiden Ln in Del Mar. Our parking lot is accessible via Maiden Ln or Parish Lane.

What about parking?

When we are open for worship on Sunday mornings, park in the St. Peter's parking lot. Enter off Parish Lane.

What do you believe?

As part of the Episcopal Church, “we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As constituent members of the Anglican Communion in the United States, we are descendants of and partners with the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church, and are part of the third largest group of Christians in the world.” Learn more episcopalchurch.org
