Mary Via: Children, Youth & Families Minister
Mary joined the staff of St. Peter's in the summer of 2022 after moving from her home state of Virginia to San Diego. She grew up in the Presbyterian Church, but she was confirmed as an Episcopalian while attending Duke University. Mary graduated from Yale Divinity School in 2012 and went on to serve as a chaplain and teacher at National Cathedral School (Washington, DC), St. Christopher's School (Richmond, VA), and St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School (Alexandria, VA). Mary has treasured working with families as a doula and childbirth educator, as well. Mary and her husband Frank have three young daughters, Lily, Gracie, and Emma.
