Life Has Homework!?!?!

Sometimes, growing in faith feels a lot like doing homework—hard, annoying, and maybe even a little stinky (like manure)! In this children’s sermon, we explore the story of Moses and the burning bush alongside Jesus’ parable of the fig tree. Just like Moses had to pay attention to see God’s message, and the gardener gave the fig tree a second chance to grow, we, too, have moments where God helps us grow—even when we don’t like it.
