    This quiet, reflective service, framed around a different saint each week, focuses on healing through prayer, scripture, and the laying on of hands.

What to expect

When you arrive, you’ll find warm, friendly people eager to make you feel at home. Our services are rooted in the rich traditions of the Episcopal Church, with inspiring sermons, beautiful music, and meaningful prayers.

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we encourage you to participate as you feel comfortable. Our liturgy (order of service) follows the Book of Common Prayer, and you’ll find bulletins with easy-to-follow guidance for each service. You can also stop by the Welcome Table on the patio if you have any questions!

Getting involved

There are many ways to get involved at St. Peter’s, from small groups and bible studies to outreach and volunteer opportunities.

For families, we offer a vibrant children’s ministry, youth group, and intergenerational activities. There’s something for everyone to experience spiritual growth and build lasting friendships.

 FAQs

  • We are located at 1 Parish Lane, between 14th and 15th Street off of Maiden Ln in Del Mar. Our parking lot is accessible via Maiden Lane or Parish Lane.

  • We have three weekend services: spoken service on Saturday at 5pm; Sunday morning traditional service at 8am; and Sunday morning Family service at 9:30am. All have the Eucharist (communion).

    There's also a Wednesday morning healing service at 9:30am each week.

  • Some like to dress up for church, and others prefer everyday attire. We encourage you to wear what’s comfortable for you.

  • Anywhere you like! There are no assigned seats. The north transept (to the left of the altar when you enter the church) is generally the children's "pray-ground" during the Sunday 9:30am service.

  • Yes, all are welcome to receive here at St. Peter's.

  • Yes! Nursery services are available Sunday mornings from 7:45am to 11:15am September-April.  We also have Godly Play for children each Sunday at 9:15am.

  • There are visitor parking spaces in the St. Peter's parking lot, on the 15th street side of campus. Parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood. For a full list, visit https://www.delmar.ca.us/201/Parking-Information
