Youth Sunday 2024!
We’re honoring our graduating seniors, Caroline Hunt, Lola Newlander and Andrew Schiering! Read on to learn all about them.
Caroline Hunt
Caroline Hunt has been attending St. Peter’s since she was 11 months old and has since served as an usher, lector, member of the altar guild and thrift shop volunteer. She has loved the community she’s had for the past seventeen years at St. Peter’s, and the experiences she’s gotten to have through St. Peter’s, including trips to Camp Steven’s, the recent youth pilgrimage to Alaska, and, perhaps most of all, some 10 bingo nights. She is graduating from Torrey Pines High School and will study political science at UC Berkeley this fall.
Andrew Schiering
Andrew Schiering has been attending St. Peter’s since before he was born and has served as both an acolyte and usher. He has always valued the community the church has given him and has participated in youth events like Camp Steven’s and the youth pilgrimage last summer to Alaska. He is graduating from Westview High School and will study engineering at Purdue University this fall.
