Join retired teacher and San Diego Botanic Garden docent since 2001, Mary Friestedt, as she shares her journey from maintaining a thirsty cottage garden to creating a drought-tolerant paradise in Del Mar. Mary will discuss water conservation, natural sprays, and popular native plants in the Del Mar area. As a Master Gardener, she’ll also provide tips on herbs and seasonal decorating ideas using native plants.

Lunch will be provided by Viewpoint Brewing Company, with options for dietary restrictions. Open to all!
