Beth Beall has served as the Executive Director of the Vida Joven Foundation since 2013. Vida Joven is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego that provides life-changing support to orphaned and migrant children in Baja, Mexico.
Under Beth’s leadership, the Vida Joven Foundation will support six orphanages in Tijuana and Ensenada in 2024, and will also partner with the Diocese to open a shelter for migrant mothers and children in Tijuana.
Prior to her work with Vida Joven, Beth served as the Director of Family Ministries in various churches across the U.S. She has a Ph.D. from Drew University in sociology of religion.
Beth is the mother of 23-year-old Alejandra, whom she adopted from the Vida Joven orphanage in Tijuana six years ago. When she’s not working on her Spanish or raising funds for the children in Mexico, you’ll find Beth curled up in a quiet place with a novel or a book of poetry in her hands.
