Cookies for Kairos
For over 25 years, the parishioners of St. Peter’s have baked with love—literally. Since 1997, our community has been making homemade cookies and Rice Krispie squares to support the Kairos Prison Ministry, a powerful outreach that helps transform lives behind bars.
It may seem like a simple act, but a dozen cookies can carry a powerful message: You are seen. You are valued. You are not forgotten.
This year, we invite you to be part of this tradition of hope. Join us in baking cookies for Kairos and help share God’s love in a tangible way. Here’s how you can participate:
Bake your favorite homemade cookies (or Rice Krispie squares).
Package each dozen in a Ziploc bag—please, no tin foil or wire twist ties, as these delay or prevent entry during inspection.
Drop off your cookies in the large freezer in the kitchen at St. Peter’s by noon on Sunday, March 30.
Your baked goods will be delivered to Kairos, where they’ll serve as a reminder of love, grace, and second chances.
Thank you for being part of this meaningful ministry. Your generosity and kindness truly make a difference!
