Young Families Gathering in Lent: A New Midweek Tradition

When: Wednesdays in Lent at 4:30 PM
Where: North Campus at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

Last updated 3/28/25

Lent is a season of reflection, growth, and community, and at St. Peter’s we’re creating a special space for young families to experience it together. Each Wednesday during Lent at 4:30 PM, families with younger children are invited to gather on our North Campus for an afternoon of connection, play, and kid-friendly worship.

This midweek gathering is designed with young children in mind. We begin with time to play — afterward, we share a simple meal, creating space for parents and caregivers to connect while little ones enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The evening concludes with a brief, child-focused worship experience that helps families journey through Lent in a meaningful, engaging way.

If you’re looking for a way to deepen your family’s faith journey this season while also enjoying fellowship with other young families, we’d love to have you join us! Whether you’re new to St. Peter’s or a longtime member, all are welcome. Come as you are and be part of this special time together.
